EV Recharging Infrastructure Light Duty Vehicle (LDV) National Road Grant Scheme
Launched in February 2025, Phase 3 of the programme targeted the 3,000 km of non Ten-T national single carriageway roads.
In October 2025, the locations of the 90 successful applicant sites were announced. Combined, the grant support offered for the development of the 90 new high-powered recharging pools targets the delivery 192 high-powered recharging points, providing an additional 22,000 kilowatts (22 Megawatts) of recharging capacity.
