EV Recharging Infrastructure Light Duty Vehicle (LDV) National Road Grant Scheme
Launched in October 2024, Phase 2 of the programme targeted more than 1,200 km of National Single Carriageway roads.
In June 2025, the locations of the 53 successful applicant sites were announced. Combined, the grant support offered for the development of the 53 new high-powered recharging pools targets the delivery of 175 high-powered recharging points and approximately 20,000 kilowatts (20 Megawatts) of recharging capacity.
